Brief Description - A classic wilderness trip in remote Western Nepal down Nepal's largest and longest river.
Add ons - Bardia national park.
The Karnali rises near the holy mountain of Mount Kailash in Tibet and carves itself through the Himalaya's into incredible canyons and magnificent gorges down into the jungles and forests of Western Nepal. The Karnali is a gem. Most experienced river people who have paddled Karnali find it one of the best all-round river trips they have ever done.
Spring Snow melts and storms can drive the river up dramatically in a matter of hours. In high water, the Karnali is a serious commitment combining huge but fairly straightforward rapids.
Anyone who has done this remote trip raves about it. Finish with a visit to the Bardia National Park for an unbeatable combination of true adventure in Nepal.
